1. Company Details
Orangutan Experience is an agency based in Bukit Lawang, specialized in sustainable and responsible Jungle Treks & Tours.
2. Booking and Payment
Bookings can be made by emailing a request to firstname.lastname@example.org or calling to +6281246765864.
After confirmation a deposit of at least 30% of the price is payable. Payment is by bank transfer and shall be made in Euro or IDR.
The difference to 100% of the price will be charged in time of arrival in Bukit Lawang in IDR at our agency.
Cancellations have to be done by e-mail to email@example.com. In case of cancellation the following refunds* will be made:
Period before arriving/start of the jungle trek or tour:
61 days and more : 100%
31 – 60 days : 75%
15 – 30 days : 50%
14 days or less : no refund
*Please note: When making a payment in different currency/from a different country the costs for the exchange currency charged by the bank (PayPal) will be paid by the guest. In case of cancellation the costs for the exchange currency charged by the bank (PayPal) when sending the refund will be paid by the guest. This will be deducted from the refund.
4. Personal health/Insurance
1. Orangutan Experience recommends personal and travel insurance that cover accidents, injury or loss of personal property.
2. Orangutan Experience is not liable for any damages or injuries suffered as a consequence of anything, howsoever caused, in connection with services carried out by third parties or arising from the use of accommodation or transportation or other service, weather conditions or natural disasters which are beyond our control. Please be aware that by booking you confirm that your state of health complies with the travel requirements. The jungle treks and some of the tours can be strenuous and therefore cause danger to persons suffering from cardiac or circulatory disorders. Please inform our guides when making the booking if you have any health issues.
